This is my site, where I will vent, rant, and showcase my music.  I’m the wife of a brilliant, amazingly handsome man, mother of four gifted children, devoted Christian and  a Worship Leader at my church for about 5 years (recently moved completely cross country).  I am an aspiring musician / songwriter at heart.

Okay…I just had to leave that up!   My witty husband is a web designer so he put up this site for me.  He got it up and running and that is the paragraph he wrote (hopefully no one saw the high school picture).  It is endearing, so it stays.

The basics are true.  I am a 34 year old wife of a very smart hubby who is an entrepreneur, all the way.  He is my ‘ruggedly’ handsome best friend.  We have been together more than  a decade, which I think is impressive, considering all we have been through in our lives…as individuals and as a married couple.

I do have four beautiful children who I stay home with and homeschool.  I feel very blessed to be able to be with them all the time.  I will not mislead you and say it is bliss all day long.  But I will say I believe it is completely worth it.

I enjoy knowing them so well, and letting them grow in their strongest areas, as individuals.  They do not have to conform to any teacher or students beliefs to fit in, or be liked.  (I think this will continue this thought in a post )

I do sing for my church with the worship groups there.  It has taught me so much, I absolutely love it.  Since I had my fourth child I have cut back the time I spend doing that, but that has given me time to write my own songs and get better on my guitar.

Music is my number one passion.   My creative nature however does spill into other areas.

I also love like photography and quilting.  I love to take pictures of everything, my kids are my favorite of coarse but nature too.  Nothing I could ever make money at, that is for sure, but I love it the same.

As for quilting…I like to sew but I really love the designing process on graph paper, and figuring out the colors and making it all come together in a finished product.  I don’t know that a ‘true’ quilter would call my blankets quilts…which is fine…mine are my own thing.  The basics I learned from my Mom when I was a little girl and watched her sew all day.  I hope to have a category to share the ones I have made and maybe helpful tips or a book for whoever is interested.

I also enjoy writing ….so I have built a few sites.  They were kind of a small outlet that didn’t stick because I still had so much stuff bottled up, that is why I am so excited about this site!

Other than my height and weight that is all I can think of, without getting too personal.
