I love to take pictures…mostly of my kids, but nature too. My husband gave me the basics a few years back…thank God for that.
I just got a Nikon, like the one on the commercials with Ashton Kucher (spelling?). Anyway the camera is awesome. My first digital was a dinosaur.
I was so excited when I got it about 8 years ago. It will hardly fit in my purse, and it takes forever to turn on, and it takes forever to actually take a picture! I tried not to complain though, because at least I had a digital camera…right?
Well this year for Christmas my hubby got me the Nikon L18. I love it! It turns on in like 1 second, you can go through your photos so fast, I also bought a card to hold more pics and it holds over 700!
Funny thing…I do keep putting my face up to the camera to find the peak whole for my eye…there isn’t one. Or another air headed thing I do is when I am taking a picture of myself and someone else…you know…like holding your arm out in front of you and smiling at your own camera, I will turn it off instead of take the picture.
My sister and I have had a laugh about that more than one time. Those moments bring us back to a long time ago when my mother use to get the whole family in a group for a photo. We would all try to get situated she would say…”okay now hold still, smile!” We would all sit and wait with cheese grins and then the camera wouldn’t click.
We would all sigh because she forgot to WIND the camera up, AGAIN! Remember when you had to wind your camera? Wow how times have changed.
This will be where I put my photos I have taken. Just cuz I enjoy them and maybe you will too. I guess if you want to use one for something it wil be okay as long as you put a link back to my site with it. Those are my terms.
So about the Nikon…
The photos are so clear. The lighting is better, the color is better…I just can’t say enough. So yes this is the camera I recommend.
If you are at all interested in buying a camera, please check out this store and consider a Nikon! I don’t think I will ever buy anything else. The next camera I purchase will be a photographers camera. I don’t even know what they are called, but that is okay… the future me will know!

I also want to say I love Shutterfly. I love the idea of scrap booking! I just don’t have the time, money, or space for it. Well you can basically make a scrap book style digital photo book, without the mess and it costs much less.
I won a free photo book online one time, so I of course tried it out… I was hooked! It is also great for gifts! They are always promoting and having discounts, so check it out!
